Our monthly trap shoots are held between April and December; we are moving them to the first Saturday of the month instead of the first Sunday. New signup window is between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Berks League shoots will continue to be held on a Sunday as scheduled.
No scrap or other materials are to be removed from club property without the expressed consent of an Association Officer or Board member.
Hard copy newsletters and renewal reminder postcards will no longer be mailed. Postage rates are unsustainable. We will send all communications from here to forward via E-mail blasts. This only works if we have your E-mail address on file.
PISTOLS THAT ARE ALTERED WITH ANY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT PROVIDES SUPPORT BY ANY BODY PART OTHER THAN THE HANDS, SUCH AS A RIFLE SHOULDER SUPPORT, STABILIZING BRACE (MP5, SP5, ETC.) OR TACTICAL RAPID FIRE, ARE PROHIBITED ON THE STEEL TARGET PISTOL RANGE.

Trapshooting 

Perry currently is in 5th place in the  2023-2024 Berks Intervalley league. We are not holding any trap shoots  during January through March  inclusive; but will resume holding those events starting April, 2024 including the Monday evening handicap shoots. Monthly shoots are now held on the first Saturday of the  month instead of the first Sunday.

Big Game Contests 

There currently are no entries for our biggest bear contest for 2023. The next bear and deer contests end at 8:00 p.m. on 1/30/24 and 2/27/24 respectively. The next longest turkey beard contest ends at the June 25, 2024 regular  meeting. Bring your harvests to the club  for measurement. Winners receive $75.

MEMBERSHIP 

Membership renewal E-mail reminders are sent about 6 weeks before your expiration date. Everyone needs to  provide us with a valid E-mail address to receive our communications. However, it is your responsibility to  know your membership card’s expiration date and pay the $20 renewal fee before expiration in order to avoid the additional $10 re-join fee. Pay with credit card on-line.

SHOTGUN PATTERNING

There is a patterning stand for shot guns located between trap-houses #2  and #3. Please refrain from firing shot gun shot shells at the pistol /rifle range yardages below 25 yards. Shot shell pellets at such short distances quickly deteriorate the target mats requiring more frequent maintenance. Limit shotgun use at the ranges for sighting in slug barrels only.

Display your card 

Your membership card must be visibly displayed while  you are using the ranges. We have placed clips at the  bench areas to be used to display your membership card. Also a lanyard displaying your card or fastened to  your gun case or range bag are also acceptable. Michael Mescavage is our Range Officer and he stops by the club  randomly to check cards, guest passes and safe firearm handling by all members and guests. Club Officers also check same. You will be asked to leave the ranges if  you cannot provide proof of membership. We are being  more proactive in this regard due to trespassers and memberships that have lapsed.

CLUB HOUSE RENTAL 

Members of the club can rent the clubhouse for  special occasions. The cost is $200 plus proof of homeowner’s insurance plus a $200 refundable security deposit minus any damages. Contact us to check on date availability  to reserve your space. The clubhouse holds 50 people comfortably or a maximum of 70.

USE OUR WEB SITE 

Our web site processes credit card  payments through our PayPal account. You do NOT need to have a PayPal  account to make credit card payments on the web site. This method of payment makes it clearer and easier to  pay for new memberships, renewals, guest passes, clubhouse rentals, as well as other available products.  Occasionally we will post raffle  tickets on the web site, When you order and pay we will complete the ticket stubs in your name and mail you the remainder of the tickets. Winning ticket numbers will be  posted on the web site. We encourage you to visit our web site  frequently to stay on top of Association Communications.

2024 Board Shoots 

Kim Youse won the 2023 Cabela’s gift card from the drawing at the December 10, 2023 shoot. The next Board shoot is on April 14th. Next year a total of seven (7) shoots will again be held. The other six shoots are May 12th, June  9th, September 8th, October 13th, November10th and December 8th. Sign-up begins at 8:30 a.m. and the  shoots start at 9:00 a.m. Prizes are very nice meat trays from Christman’s in Oley. Splatter boards and strip tickets for meat trays are also sold during those events. For every entry sign-up your name is also entered in a  special drawing after the December  2024 shoot for a gift card.
